Ross Harvey is an international award-winning destination wedding photographer who, having left his day job in 2010, has built a stellar reputation as one of the world's leading exponents of the art, with a slew of wedding photography accolades and awards under his belt. Ross has also received critical acclaim for his unique documentary style street photography work.
Conor McDonnell has built a rapidly successful career as an entertainment photographer – including touring with musicians Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris, and photographing the Big Day for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. For the last 4 years, Amy has photographed for prestigious clients worldwide.
The Nikon Ambassador initiative was introduced in 2013 to celebrate class-leading photographers working in specific fields of photography, whilst inspiring people to pick up their camera and reach their creative potential. The Ambassadors work with Nikon on a range of activities, from seminars at key events to social media and PR campaigns.
Nikon’s prestigious Ambassador Alumni include; Richard Peters – award-winning wildlife photographer, Helen Sloan – Game of Thrones Principle Stills Photographer, Leon Neal – Editorial photographer for Getty Images and multi-award winning Fine Art photographer and author Kirsty Mitchell, to name a few.
Jeremy Gilbert, Marketing Director at Nikon UK says: “Since the launch of the Ambassador scheme in 2013 we have seen some amazing talent in our line-up. Through the ambassadors we are able to engage with our customers but most importantly, inspire enthusiasts to take a step up with their photography.”
He adds: “The scheme has allowed us to formally acknowledge some of the country’s leading photographers in their fields and collaborate with them creatively to communicate the Nikon message.”
